Three and a half years. Seven books. The journey that changes a life.
Discipleship Group is designed to be walked through together — we recommend gathering three others if you can. If you can't, you're still welcome: many of our readers walk this solo or as a pair, and DG Family gives them the community a full group would naturally have.
Here's how it works.
1. Decide Your Shape.
Ideally, four people walk together. If three others aren't possible, two will work - and so does going it on your own. The curriculum is the same either way.
2. Start with Kingdom Living.
Each person buys their own copy. There is no upfront program fee - you just buy the first book and start reading. When you are ready for the next book, you buy it.
3. Meet at your pace.
We recommend you meet weekly, but some groups meet every other week. The standard meeting time is 1 to 2 hours. The length and time aren't speed-focused but depth-focused. There is no deadline.
4. Walk through all 7 books.
Kingdom Living, then Books 1 through 6 - each one builds on the last. You'll work through passages, share what's stirring, and let God's Word do its work. The books don't ask you to teach; they ask you to read together and be changed.
5. Finish Changed.
At the end, you'll have done something most people only talk about. (DG Family members also receive a completion certificate - see below.)
Available Additions
Our books have everything you need, but these are here if you want more.
DG Family — $15/person/month
DG Family is an optional community in addition to the books. There are conversation spaces moderated by Michaela, a members-only podcast with Jay and Michaela (two episodes a month, including a monthly Q&A), and your completion certificate when you finish.
Founding-member pricing: $15/person/month, locked for life. Annual option: $150/person/year. Cancel anytime.
Pursuing a Bachelor's in Theological Studies?
Ready to go further? DG graduates can earn an accredited Bachelor's in Theological Studies through our partnership with Logos University - a fraction of the cost of a traditional Bible college, and built for real ministry roles. The first group opens in early 2027.
What if I can't find three other people?
You're welcome to go through this solo or with one other person. We have readers in 30+ states and several countries — many of them, especially military families and missionaries, are walking this on their own. DG Family is designed to give solo and pair readers the community piece they'd otherwise miss.
How long does it actually take?
The curriculum is designed for about 3.5 years if you read consistently. Some readers finish faster; some take longer. The goal is to grow in connection with others and God, not "finish on time".
What does it cost?
You pay for each book when you buy it — per person, per book, at our standard pricing. No upfront program fee, no payment plan, no debt. DG Family is a separate, optional $15/person/month membership that includes community and podcast access. The Degree Add-On is a separate, optional $300/person + $ 3,930 fee paid to Logos if you're pursuing the Bachelor's in Theological Studies.
What if one person in my group drops out?
It happens. Groups of three still work. Groups of two are harder but not impossible. Even a solo reader can finish. The program is built to flex with real life.
Do we have to meet in person?
No. Many groups meet over Zoom. The community is what matters; the medium is flexible.
Ready to begin?
Find your group of four, one other person, or begin on your own. Pick up the first book and take the first step. The rest unfolds a week at a time.
